I'd like to share some examples of my graphic design process from concept sketch to finished pieces.
I wanted to update the logo I've been using for years with something for a new business card, and that I could silkscreen onto the products I tie-dye, like T-shirts, and wall tapestries. It needed to include my website address, as well as Instagram handle. I'll walk you through the steps of my process:
Original concept kids toy block
Adding additional blocks and full text
Simplifying and adding my creative flair
Fleshing out the concept and tidying up
initial alignments and shapes
Adding the text and choosing fonts
Adjusting line thickness and refining shapes
Cleaning up shapes and getting ready to add in background
Total overhaul of fonts and overall design
Finalizing design and adding colours
Finished black and white logo for screen printing
Finished Colour logo for web and letterhead
